Cancellation & Refund Policy

Important Notice: This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all ticket purchases for Synapse Conclave 2026, operated by Lucid Lines Productions Private Limited. Please read this policy carefully before making your purchase.
1. General Policy
All tickets purchased for Synapse Conclave 2026 are non-refundable, except as specifically defined in the conditions outlined below. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
2. Cancellation & Refund Eligibility
Refunds are available only under the following conditions:
- Cancellations made 45 days or more before the conference: You will receive a 100% refund of the ticket price (excluding convenience fees, taxes, and processing charges)
- Cancellations made between 45 to 30 days prior to the event: You will receive a 50% refund of the ticket price (excluding convenience fees, taxes, and processing charges)
- Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event: No refund will be provided
3. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed within 24 to 48 hours of approval
- Refunds will be issued only to the original mode of payment used during purchase
- Convenience fees, payment gateway charges, taxes, and processing charges are non-refundable under all circumstances
- The refund amount will reflect in your account within 5-7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider

The following charges are non-refundable in all cases:
- Payment gateway transaction fees
- Convenience charges
- GST and other applicable taxes
- Processing charges
5. Ticket Transfers (Alternative to Refund)
- Ticket transfers are permitted up to 10 days before the event with written notification
- To transfer your ticket, submit a written request to the organisers via email
- In the same email, provide all details of the transferee needed for registration
- The transferee must be copied in the email
- No transfers will be accepted within the final 10 days before the event
- A ticket purchased for both days cannot be split or shared between different persons on separate days
6. Event Postponement or Rescheduling
- In case of event postponement or rescheduling, tickets will automatically remain valid for the new dates
- Refund requests in such cases will be handled at the organisers' discretion
- The organisers will communicate any changes via email to the registered email address
7. Force Majeure
In the event of cancellation due to Force Majeure (including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, acts of God, or other circumstances beyond the organisers' control):
- The organisers reserve the right to reschedule the event
- Tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled dates
- Refund eligibility will be determined on a case-by-case basis at the organisers' discretion
- The organisers shall not be liable for any travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred by participants
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to contact@synapseconclave.com
- Include your registration ID and full name
- Clearly state your reason for cancellation
- Provide your original payment details for verification
- Our team will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days
9. Refund Approval Process
- All refund requests are subject to verification and approval by Lucid Lines Productions Private Limited
- The organisers reserve the right to reject refund requests that do not meet the eligibility criteria
- Once approved, refunds will be processed within 24-48 hours
- You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated
10. Partial Refunds
- For two-day tickets, partial refunds for single-day cancellations are not available
- The refund policy applies to the entire ticket purchase
- If you wish to attend only one day, please consider transferring your ticket to another person
11. Group Bookings
- For group bookings (6 or more participants), the same refund policy applies
- Refunds for group bookings must be requested by the primary contact person
- Partial cancellations within a group booking may be subject to different terms
- Please contact us directly for group booking cancellations
12. Premium/Platinum Tickets
- Premium and Platinum ticket holders are subject to the same refund policy
- Additional benefits and services included in premium tickets are non-refundable separately
- The refund amount will be calculated based on the ticket price paid
13. Disputes and Resolution
- Any disputes regarding refunds will be handled in accordance with Indian law
- The decision of Lucid Lines Productions Private Limited shall be final and binding
- All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India
