SYNAPSE 2026 – TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By registering for or purchasing a ticket to Synapse Conclave 2026 ("Event"), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). These Terms apply to all ticket categories and govern participation in the event hosted by Lucid Lines Productions Private Limited ("Organiser").
Definitions
For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions:
- "Event" refers to Synapse Conclave 2026, organised by Lucid Lines Productions Private Limited.
- "Organizer" refers to Lucid Lines Productions Private Limited, its employees, agents, and authorised representatives.
- "Participant" refers to any individual or entity registered to attend the Event.
- "Venue" refers to the physical location where the Event is conducted.
- "Registration Fee" refers to the amount paid for participation in the Event.
- "Platform" refers to the official Synapse Conclave website or any authorised digital interface used for event registration and communication.
1. Registration & Attendance
- Registration is transferable but non-refundable.
- Tickets may be transferred to another person up to 10 days prior to the event by submitting a written request to the organisers. In the same email, the transferer must share all details of the transferee needed for registration. The transferee must be copied in the email. No transfers will be accepted within the final 10 days.
- A ticket purchased for both days cannot be split or shared between different persons on separate days.
- Access to the conference is confirmed only after full payment and receipt of email confirmation from the organisers.
- Same-day registrations are permitted but will not include complimentary conference bags.
- All attendees must be 18 years or older. Valid government photo identification must be presented at entry.
- Participants must wear their official event badges at all times, especially in restricted-access areas such as lounges, coffee meetings, and Platinum zones.
- The organisers are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience. Participants with special needs or accessibility requirements are encouraged to notify the organisers/hotel at the time of making bookings/registration.
- The organisers reserve the right to refuse or revoke entry to any participant who violates event rules, security procedures, or expected standards of conduct.
- By registering, participants consent to receive event-related communications for the current and future editions of Synapse Conclave and other Lucid Lines IPs.
2. Program & Event Policies
- The organisers reserve the right to modify the program, speakers, schedule, or venue at any time without prior notice.
- All sessions, performances, and dinners are subject to change in timing or format based on logistical or security considerations.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited within the venue premises.
- Photography and videography are permitted for personal, non-commercial use only.
- Attendees consent to be photographed, filmed, or recorded by authorised personnel and grant the organisers the right to use such images or recordings in event materials, marketing, and archival documentation without compensation or further consent.
- All session content, recordings, images, materials, and event branding are the intellectual property of Lucid Lines Productions Pvt. Ltd. Attendees may not record, reproduce, or distribute any session, keynote, or performance, digitally or otherwise for non-personal/commercial use, without prior written consent. Any unauthorized use or dissemination may invite legal action.
- Mobile phones must remain on silent mode during sessions.
- Photography and social media posting from open sessions are permitted, but any recording of closed-door sessions, coffee meetings, or private dinners is strictly prohibited.
- Outside food and beverages are not permitted within the event premises.
- Alcoholic beverages (including cocktails) will be served only to attendees 21 years and above, and proof of age may be requested.
- Tickets may not be resold, exchanged, or offered for resale at a premium. The organisers reserve the right to cancel any ticket suspected of being resold or duplicated.
- Synapse Conclave is committed to sustainable event practices. Attendees are encouraged to minimise waste and support eco-conscious measures implemented across the venue.
3. Security & Entry Rules
- All attendees are subject to mandatory security screening at entry. Cooperation with venue and security staff is required at all times.
- Firearms, sharp objects, explosives, illegal substances, and hazardous materials are strictly prohibited inside the venue.
- The organisers reserve the right to inspect bags and belongings for safety compliance.
- Entry may be denied if identification documents are missing, falsified, or unverifiable, regardless of ticket purchase.
- The organisers and venue management shall not be liable for loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings inside or outside the venue.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
All tickets are non-refundable, except as defined under:
- Cancellations made 45 days or more before the conference will receive a 100% refund
- Cancellations made between 45 to 30 days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund
- Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund
- Where applicable, approved refunds will be issued only to the original mode of payment and will exclude convenience fees, taxes, and processing charges.
- Ticket transfers are permitted up to 10 days before the event with written notification, as stated above in the Registration Policy. After that, no changes will be allowed.
- In case of postponement or rescheduling, tickets will automatically remain valid for the new dates. Refund requests in such cases will be handled at the organisers' discretion.
5. Liability & Force Majeure
- The organisers are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property incurred during travel to, from, or within the event venue.
- Lucid Lines Productions Private Limited shall not be deemed in default or liable for delays, damages, or refunds in cases of Force Majeure, including but not limited to wars, riots, epidemics, acts of God, fires, strikes, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond its control.
- In such cases, the organisers reserve the right to reschedule, modify, or cancel parts of the event without liability.
- Certain elements of the event, including accommodation, dining, and transport, may be managed by third-party vendors. The organisers are not liable for any act, omission, or default of such independent contractors or service providers.
- The presence of sponsors, exhibitors, or partners does not constitute endorsement by Lucid Lines Productions Pvt. Ltd. The organisers are not responsible for representations, offers, or activities conducted by third-party sponsors or vendors.
- Participants are encouraged to arrange their own insurance coverage for travel, medical emergencies, or loss of personal belongings. The organisers shall not be liable for any expenses incurred due to travel disruptions, cancellations, or health-related incidents.
6. Public Health & Safety
- All attendees are required to comply with any government or venue-mandated health advisories in force at the time of the event.
- The organisers may enforce mask mandates, temperature checks, or health declarations if required by law.
- Entry may be refused to participants displaying visible symptoms of contagious illness.
- In case of event postponement due to public-health directives, tickets will automatically transfer to the rescheduled dates.
7. Payment Gateway & Taxes
- Ticket prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
- All ticket payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR) through authorised payment modes including credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, or digital wallets.
- Any transaction or convenience fees charged by the payment gateway are to be borne by the participant.
- Payment gateway and transaction charges are non-refundable under all circumstances.
- Successful payment does not guarantee entry unless confirmed by official email acknowledgment.
- Ticket prices and categories are subject to change at the discretion of the organisers. Any modifications to pricing or inclusions will not affect previously completed purchases.
8. Code of Conduct
- Synapse Conclave promotes a culture of respect, dialogue, and inclusion.
- Harassment, discrimination, disruptive behaviour, or disrespect toward speakers, staff, or participants will result in immediate expulsion without refund.
- Attendees are expected to adhere to all instructions from event staff, security personnel, and the organising team.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
- Participant information will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
- Any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.
10. Amendments & Updates
- The organisers reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
- The latest version will always be available on the official Synapse Conclave website.
- Continued registration or participation constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
